John was a relative who always left his mark after a visit. I've still never heard anyone with a laugh like his. Such a warm and loving bloke to be around. Always loved. Never forgotten. Looks like Madoc may have acquired some of his love for cars.

I have many fond childhood memories of fun on the Pembrokeshire beaches with the Hostler clan, John creating fantastic sand sculptures which we’d play in for hours. And that infectious laugh and generous humour. And John’s pictures that we’d try to copy (but never could!)… Kind, engaged, playful, always fun to be around Xxx
